Chateau Cotes de Blaignan 2016 Medoc, Cru Bourgeois

This is Chateau kotjiblenyan and this is A Medocrubugeois 2016. so of course the Usual designation is a quality Designation Porto first is petite Chateaus in the medak Family-owned property They have a good size Good size estate 40 acres And of course because it's medoc They're growing primarily Cabernet Sauvignon But you know soils vary So you've got 60 percent Cabernet Sauvignon 40 Merlot Which can be a beautiful combination Nice mature Vines Uh they do some Oak aging on this 2016 great vintage so this has beautiful Glass staining color deep color Um Which is Pretty remarkable considering it's a 2016. Big nose Yeah you get those black currants you Get some of those nice sort of tobacco Notes Toastiness a little bit of those Graphite that lead pencil yeah more of That Cassis coming up pretty Let's give it a try

[Music] So It's beautifully silky and soft But it has a real intensity Black currants black cherry Those mineral notes coming through Yeah the tannins are so nice and supple There's a good balance of acid in this But there's a real kind of bold um cord Of this one Stand up to them more Fuller flavored Dishes And I definitely think you could age This a few more years but it's so nice And silky right now Drinking beautifully I'd be drinking [Music]
