Macedonia And he is going to take you on a journey Of this Wonderful great variety this evening so Swanko over to you Thank you very much yeah and thank you To Wsd school london and you for Give us opportunity to present Our wine region our country our very Important great variety of rats And this evening we the first time we Try to To explain and pass through the some Short summary here just to to meet the Basic Information about the where we are Where is our country and why region Located Our wine roots uh shortly about the wine History Some facts of production and Viticulture about the quantity Reproduction And the importance of brown its great Variety Main wine regions barda river valley is A one of Uh i like to say Maine wine artery here in the balkan Peninsula Our very important Wine region then very shortly about the Classification and cooperation with

The european union wine law Then we come to the brownish variety As a plant and with viticulture Characteristics and after that we will Pass through the bronze wines Uh characteristic of wines made from Granites And some wine styles which is actually Producing here in north macedonia and Under some different Wine districts so from the very Beginning i would like to This is the map of europe as you know But i see that we have a lot of Guests which come from mexico or From states and some other parts of the World so it will be Good to show where exactly the north Macedonia is Located in the southeast of europe and As you can see more closer it’s not so Far for the famous wine regions in France italy Germany austria hungary and so on I mean that’s not too much but we are Not In some other part of the world we are Very close In the europe Actually if we go more deeper we are in The balkan Part of the balkan peninsula which is Natural northern Border is made from river salah which

Flew up in the River danube and further into the black Sea This i made a little mistake because Then you go over there and Romania also become a part of the Welcome peninsula and this is very huge One region But we are talking about the north Macedonia So our closest neighbors Are serbia from the north and kosovo Bulgaria east greece from south And albania for best hi there So and here is montenegro which is so Important about brandes grape variety We’ll talk later about The origin of ryan’s grape variety so Just To know that it’s not so far from north Macedonia Going further this political map and uh Further the balkan peninsula is divided To the western balkan Easter balkan as you can see the north Macedonia is in the Center in the heart of the balkan Peninsula and it’s Very important strategic position How in political also in the Wine industry and the history of Spreading the wine culture because we All know that Wine culture was spreading from east

From the mountain Mountain cafes and go to the west To the ancient greece romans sent Goals and so on but we are not talking Too much about the history Um going further which is interesting What i find That actually balkan peninsula lies in The seventh It’s around by seven seas This looks like some fairy tale uh Actually it’s Uh really seven seas aviation and Newtonian Agency frequency sea of marmara and Black sea all this Mediterranean seas has a mediterranean Influence on the on the countries On the balkan peninsula and for north Macedonia for Us it’s very important agency because It’s responsible for Mediterranean hard influence to our Country Or if you can see here is border river Valley Which is flow up into the agency and Here is a plane actually 50 60 Kilometers From where it’s penetrated mediterranean Sea and mediterranean climate sorry The driving climate and we have very Unique climate you will see Later about the climate aspects

On the viticulture okay about The history of macedonia it’s fine in North macedonia In macedonia it’s finds some Artifacts in 30th century Bronze age and it’s considered that it’s Used for Uh for wine but what is actually Proved and its uh find it was sixty and Second cent Between sixth and second century before Uh christ uh let’s find actually this What made from bronze And with the role to mix wine And water together with some plants Uh dry plants in order to make More wines palatable because uh Production of ancient wines And the taste of ancient wines are so Pungent So this is find this uh what it finds Near the village the banister And this shows that actually Spreading the wine for a long history of Wine culture and wine production Here in our territory of Our country north macedonia today if we Go Further between first and thirteenth Century this is Pretty much a long period it’s rise of Christianity which impact on the On the production of the wines and the Consumption of

Wise as well the roman and byzantine Period i usually want to say the roman Wine renaissance because the romans They find here good soil for wine Production or wild consumption But they really do develop This production of vines they start Separate black grapes from White grapes by making red wines white Wines and so on and Also hardly trading into the region Between the Constantinople and the rome there was a Famous way via ignacia named by the Ignacio uh impact emperor And macedonian in that time macedonian Wise Was a part of of trading and Was finished on the roma market As well in the into the constantinople On the east Then it’s come a little bit stagnation Period from 14th century uh to early 20th century under the ottoman empire Muslim Religions don’t promote uh Drinking the alcohol so the vast Majority of the wines Were uprooted and replant with the wines For the table Grape for for eating and But in that period actually the orthodox Church

And the monks protect the wine Production Using in uh in the midst The mass like a part of Their religion and for their religion So uh that period we still Keep the the wine production and when We’re growing Grapes in this region and after that It’s coming from luxera As a huge problem for whole europe And this period it’s not so good To remember but uh Then uh macedonia republic of macedonia Is a part of Yugoslavia in 20th century after the Second world war It’s become the fruit basket for For the let’s say for the yugoslavia Then Uh because a lot of uh Increasing of development of viticulture And agriculture at all Was based actually in the republic of Macedonia Uh for the sample hotel that maybe in 80s Around the 80s macedonia was participate With 80 percent of wine production in Whole yugoslavia but in that period the Quantity Was much important than the quality Even then some vingerons Wine growers achieve awards for the

Higher production Of the grapes but Run its debt periods even it’s High productive they offer the The slightly higher let’s say quality Than other great varieties And production we are talking about Production about 35 tons per hectare Let’s say and then the things changes A little bit and come to the end of 20th Century And so developments modern viticulture Modern wine making or what we’re talking Later Uh with this presentation So we’re going About some facts uh of wine production Total vineyards we are not so big wine Region total vineyards are 33 000 as you see but under the The the wine grape varieties uh it’s 28 000 hectares Almost 74 registered binaries And 20 000 brave growers which show Showing the pretty much fragmented Production of of grapes of bread growing Here Uh that impacts uh sometimes on the on The quality Of of device but there’s a Lot of projects to educate the grape Growers And to follow the all their activities In the vineyard

So in order to protect the the quality Of the grapes because I mean as we know all the wines Is born in vineyards and the quality of The grapes is Very important uh 15 This table grapes and 85 percent Is made wine grapes varieties for Production Of wines 125 tons Of grapes production in bottle Increasing To 50 and the bulk is 45 percent Then we have a five percent baby box for The Inbox we need to say that uh improvement Quality From year to year so it’s not something Which we cannot We need to avoid actually the Inbox it’s one good uh Package for for the wine but we’re Talking about the regarding to oxidation Of the wine So total production 91 millions and 50 is white and approximately 50 percent Its rate wise sales Export mostly expo already oriented Country 85 And only 50 finish at home Sales is done in 38 countries One consumption per capita is 10 liter And Second export commodity agriculture

Commodity uh Import which is export from North macedonia uh when we’re talking About the consumption per capita We need to to i need to tell you that It’s not counted the small producers For home production and they also Produce and Consume pretty much higher quantity But i i think that probably this Consumption will be Moved near closer to the 20 liters Per capita almost almost double let’s Say Top 10 export destination in bottle Serbia croatia bosnia slovenia this Neighboring Country from mexi yugoslavia china Russia going to negro germany kosovo usa To usa and other And when we’re talking about the bulk Wind the germany is A huge market for for our for our bulk Wine Syria croatia slovakia canada bulgaria Romania As you can see the montenegro is here as Well But uh this uh actually this uh Information is come from the Official customs of north macedonia so Definitely we export Some bulk wine to montenegro and i don’t Think that is white one

However okay and now we come to the Wine region this is the map of Yugoslavia and oh sorry North macedonia and under as you see we Have one Region at all which is uh macedonia wine Region and Then is split on the western part With 1080 hectares And this western part encompassed Six wine districts then in central we Have a Central part central wine region which Is also called river valley and These encompass seven wine districts and East wine region with 100 With 1700 hectares Three wild districts and in total we Have 16 Wine districts much important is the Barda river valley and the central wine Region I when i say important i don’t think i Don’t want to say that The other is less important but here we See a huge potential For the wines and huge potential for Developing of Agriculture of course western part Has uh some other styles production of Wines The eastern part some other more Efficient And so on so

When we presenting the wine districts as You can see on the relief map It’s usually based behind these tricks Into the buses Into the buses surrounding with the Mountain and on the foothills of the Mountains Are the actually the best vineyard but This is not something New because mostly the vineyards in the World Are usually based uh on the Some foothills sort of mountains or Hilly Because this is specific there are For a very good for wine production This is big fish wine region the we Start with Much important wine district with Twelve thousand thirty hundred hectares And most of the wineries are concentrate Uh they are antiquatch then we go From the north scorpio wine district Offering more thrashing wines Vellus wine district as well similar And we have on the south as you can see Here we have in this sorry In this we have in this part we have a Canyon here Uh from which it’s blowing the Mediterranean Uh climate but this one distributor is Actually part of the Of the thessaloniki plane uh which is

Everything Flat until the sea and it’s much Higher influence of the material in Climate The next three uh wine districts is of Chippewa And kochani astrum it’s a radawish Uh that is with slightly smaller impact Of the river valley but it’s still High to be a part of this central Wine region which is much important for Us About the climate we have very unique Climate here Especially for water valley As you can see it’s 50 maybe 60 Kilometers Plain from the agency and from the south It’s penetrates the mediterranean Climate And as you can see this mediterranean Climate Is strongly passing through the canyon And actually The canyon named the capia or Literally translated it will be iron Gate Is act like a huge fan and blowing the Mediterranean hot green Into the valley and especially in the Tikka area because We see that it’s much important and we Have the first Impact of the material climate which has

Come here And we have a very high mountain soda With Some cooling effects and we go further To see other climate aspects From the north we have a continental Climate And impact of the continental planet so They Two climates meet together something uh Let’s say closer into the velas and into The The southern part of the wellesley District in the northern part Of the of the ticket If we see if we check under the Climate official climate zone this is The border where it’s passing C3 climate zone and c2 climate climate Zone north from From this border and what they mean That’s mean that C3 zone encompass the wine regions From let’s say puja basilicata Calabrias cecilia South of spain as well from dora River south into the portugal Here i think the spirit in benedict is Also part of c3 But however c2 is the northern part This is the primal zone which Encompassed the famous maya regions from The Italy and also the the vast majority of

Extinguisher countries nowadays Serbia bosnia serbina montenegro is In this part croatia and so on So we come back and uh to the to this Market to explain More about the climate as you can see The relief The macedonia north macedonia is mostly Mountains Mountain country approximately 75 Percent Are mountains and which peaks To 2000 meters and more it’s really nice To visit us and Who like uh hiking uh To the our mountains of course drink and Eat Very nice gastronomy you are all Welcomed Here also we have in montana mountains Climates Which make more complex Climates into the water river valley And that’s not all We also have borders breeze which Actually acts as a mistral in southern Rome Because they have all the components I mean for the wheel it’s mistral Definitely because it’s going from the Northwest to the southeast and it’s Cooling actually the vineyards into the Hot Days and which is much important because

We have a high temperature into the Summer absolutely Can reach 40 45 degrees So but in the harvest we also Can have a heavy rains or just summer Rains Rains this wind really helps to Dry the grapes and we don’t need to use Actually fungi from the sides which is Make much easier for organic wine Production In the walda river valley at all like a Wine region So that will be about the climate about The soils I’ll just mention that it’s a very huge Diversity of soils And as you can see there’s a mountain a Lot of mountains And uh in the sub uh Subsoil it’s uh often you can find uh Some volcanic soil especially here at The foothills of the Kojou which we know that Impact somehow not with geological Minerals but impact on the taste of the Wine As well on the higher altitudes the Graves are More smaller so we have a more Polyphenols we have more anthocyanins Tanines and so on when you don’t have Too much Pulp and that will be

About the climate about the Classification very briefly from the Right side is actually European union one law we have a table Wine at the base from where we come this Is Uh for the the graves come from the huge Wine region everywhere In the north macedonia then we have Vgi or wine with geographical education Which is equal to european Uranium sorry to The european union as pgi protected Geographical Dedication that means that has some Restriction in by production and as well In the grey production and It still comes from the beer area graves Come from the bigger area but It’s not like a from the table wines Come from particular Wine districts and then we have a wine With controlled origin Together with wines with controller and Guaranteed origin Which is actually uh equal which pdo or Protected designation of origin From european union one law That means that wines come from very Small Areas and very controlled Yields reduction in the yields There’s a higher percentage of alcohol And as well

Permitted and which great varieties are Permitted in this production As well and in the winery some purchase Some processes which need to be Provide during the the production so This should be reflected to more quality Wines But uh i also need to mention that Under this appellation the analogists Usually have more untied hands To experiment and to to work with some Other grape varieties or with some Grapes from other wine regions and that Not means that quality will be lower Okay about the classifications this now We’re going With the branaghs as a grape variety The name vranas as pronounced In montenegro serbia Bosnia herzegovina croatia and the Vranets We said in north macedonia there’s also The kosovo Branch i think uh This is pronounced this great priority The name is come From um actually the synonyms But the name the term bran means black And etymological meaning is like a black Stallion Or black horse Because the wines because of the Appearance of the color of the wines of Its strength and

Potency and is considered As wise with untamed spirit uh during Even during the production of The brownish wine when you’re coming to The winery Every every day you can you can smell Some other uh aromas of brines how is Developed Into the the winery which is really Difficult To to say to to cut the The the production say okay you will Look like like this What you’re offering me in the moment Okay This is about the name of granites Uh with culture characteristic uh It’s vigorous and productive actually It’s considered By the professor nastev that did great Varieties coming In 50s 1950s In north macedonia than in the republic Of macedonia as a part of Yugoslavia why because after The second world war the the Whole country was devastated and uh Macedonia is luke Is look for good for developing And for developing curry culture so they Find a great variety of granites and Bring it from Montenegro here in experimental vineyard In order to increase the production

Because this Great variety can produce 20 to 25 tons Per hectare And that’s why the wine grower is Actually Laughing love in this grape right not Only reason But it’s good reason to love this this Grape variety because Can offer too much quantity But also showing good when we make some Good reduction of this that will Achieve a very high quality of wise So this love it’s became That this grape variety most Of wine growers most of consumers Actually was field that is Uh ingenious north macedonian great Variety Which is not but we will discuss a Little bit later about About that uh early birding Meet uh building mid-ripening ripening Compact bunches that is not so Uh so good because as i mentioned about The The probably wrote In the rainy days and the need to to Find the clown Some adequate clone which can offer more Space Between the berries best results in Warm soils and moderate resistance to And power the villagers it’s very

Susceptible to uh rot Especially to great road grey grey road Here is writing as a petritis actually We don’t have hepatitis Here on on the grease because we don’t Have a climate for developing Of both right this wise and arthritis Grapes And very successful on first writing That it was Minus 12 where the actual brine And the gray plasters were frozen sugar Content 20 to 24 grams per liter and acid Content Between 67 grams per liter Which showed up to very Very good natural balance for this great Variety about the parentage We will see the one current is actually Zinfandel primitivo tribudak in croatia And kratos As we say here north macedonia And kurtosia also in montenegro together Which Is with natural cross it’s born Granites and it is relative with Ternary ceremony flowers mali very Famous from corchoa grec And so on this is very shortly about the Parentage Just to know for for the Guests from united states that that is Actually let’s say

Son of zinfandel yeah Good uh about the origin and Balkan vineyards very shortly so it’s Genius grape variety of montenegro and There is planted on 3600 Hectares as you can see here on the Sorry on the smaller map Uh this rio wine region Is actually cernicko Or something fields For the period of yugoslavia it was Actually the military The military Air base and now it’s Vineyards mostly planted with granites And it’s based in the northern part of The scada Lake so here we have a very Very huge impact of the of the lake As well of the adriatic sea on These regions uh on this region here It’s very close to the capital of Montenegro Port verizon So if the montenegro is Homeland we can say for macedonia that’s For north macedonia that’s its promised Lands because For bran is because we have here 10 800 hectares of this Great variety planted [Music] Through the whole country and gives a Very good results

They fit well with our wine regions here And the other countries in Neighboring countries where we can find Production in the France is kosovo which near You can see participate with three Percent of total Amount of production of granites North macedonia is 68 montenegro 23 Then we have uh bosnia herzegovina Also with three percent croatia mostly In the southern Part of croatia and the coastal part and Usually Used for blend with plants mali with Two percent and serbia which 120 Hectares Small there’s some near the fushkagora And In the some some vineyards in the uh Southern part of of serbia Also uh in total production is Of run since actually it’s planted Actually it’s 15 Almost 16 000 hectares About the wine making traditional wine Makings and Modern wine making this is uh actually The the stone the stone tubes Find uh zagret behind the marcos towers In prelab wine district there’s a few Probably 50 of these stone jews tubes And they witnesses for long tradition of Production

Of wines some of them not all of them Are used for production for crushing the Grapes and you see here It’s collecting the juice But when we’re talking about the Traditional wire production We need to mention that past it often Blends Uh and last two decade decades the wines Are Actually um can we find some varietal Wise in traditional production uh Usually when production Is a traditional production of [Applause] Wines it’s three great varieties no Matter of Dairy color one is used for color the Other for flavor Great variety and the third one is used For body concentration Or as we mentioned the water of of From wine of course wild yesterday Traditional winemaking they don’t Inoculate Selected yeast and there’s a three Detectable Let’s say technologies of wine making uh One is community which means its own Skins And it’s pretty reductive uh production Is the oldest way of production but it’s Still Widely used that’s mean the all the time

Wine most and wine are with combat Contact with skins and after the Fermentation we have Closed the hemetically closed the Barrels And resulting wine is very fruity Wines which aromatically Looks like beaujolais or some italian But in difference with This wine this wise has more sparks On the on the tongue because the co2 is Actually Integrated inside let’s say not so high Like fidante in in italy then we have a Latino or French southern process racking where we Have One single aeration of wine wine is After fermentation is separate from the Skins and After one life one month is Aerated outside in order From the basket or racking from basket To basket and To make a fine form Uh that is considered that this form uh It’s helping to to To for avoiding the or to Escaping of dividing actually the Sulfur and as well the carbon dioxide Which is Into the y and we this wine it’s Can be h or near two or three and It’s more structured than community then

We have a gold And literally translated naked Wine it’s similar to larcena but It’s triple aerated first aeration it’s Outside on the rainy day Because there is too much oxygen into The Heated air which is important for this Production And then after the month it’s the second And after the The the third month is the third Aeration And could be done uh should be done Actually Into the very cold uh Winter and to need to be sunny day I really don’t know why but this is the Something which help about this Production or About this style of wine this wine is Considered as A well-structured wine wine which can uh Actually age for a longer Period wine also with fruitiness but can Each The into the barrels And into the bottles bottles as well so When we’re talking about the modern uh Winemaking we start uh shortly about Vineyards It’s similar like all modern vineyards So we are All the time looking for new vineyards

Researching plural selection Then we uh we have a new approach to Choosing the To exploring and choosing the terrors Which are More fittable more suitable for the Grave variety Then uh and we have a lot of research About the The soils which is also considered as Important for using the grape varieties The proper grape variety then we have a Root stocks We made some researching about the roof Stocks And we find pretty much the impact of The Roof stocks on the phenolic components And antacions Into the planets Then we have experimenting with new Grape varieties the More coming uh grape varieties from Southern rome Uh usually because we have some Similarity with This wine region we try with lasting the Intervention in vineyards moving to Organic production Selection during the harvest picking the Grapes in several three three eyes Patriarchs picking the grapes for Premium For premium wines and then make another

Harvest And so on in the Winery there’s modern production It’s using the cutting gauge technology Rigorous control to all process Cooling the grapes grape selection Optical selection of grapes of berries Uh creole macerations or the cooler Temperature Extracting the the aromas and flavors From the wines Temperature regulated fermentation yeast Selection Selection the proper yeast for each Grape variety for Style of wine what we want to achieve So we have processes in elevation we Have a betanar suli Mololactic fermentation so we have very Er oxygen very important Process of oxygen control then in Process we use oak mostly french American slavonian but As well and macedonian oak is also Used into the maturation process We come back to the cement tanks because Cement We consider it that can offer something Like oak And stainless steel cannot offer And we try more with bottle aging Of the more well-structured wines and As well updating the archives and Come back from time time making the

Vertical destination Of wines and Connect collecting this information and Using for Further production maybe i Know maybe i’m sure that i’m missing a Lot of processes that is Encompass the modern wine production but This is what is usually done here My characteristics about the run is as You can see On the uh we have a very large Core here and it’s dark almost almost Black That is why it’s calling it It’s very highly concentrated and if you See on the rim It’s very tiny ring so we have very very Good Extraction here in extracts here in This wine all the seans are moving Five milligrams per liter higher than Five milligrams And we also have a highest level of Resveratrol Which is antioxidants and make these Planets very healthy Let’s say wine it’s not the healthiest Wine in the world but Can be uh close to the grape varieties Like malbec or maybe cabanas And this is exactly where the Run is defined what Is uh also important is when it’s young

Is a purple with purple rim And uh see 2018 and In 2011 when it’s old They have a little bit garnet but the Mostly change to the deep Ruby color so this differences in color And Intensity can be can give us Information about the uh about the Youngest Donors actually of the of the Of the brands and this 2011 Was still fruity which means that 10 Years We don’t find here any tertial notes yet So the bronze has a very good potential For aging my characteristics about the Taste we have a high acidity Heightenings full body wine and With long and pleasant finish uh Which is as you can see it’s almost Everything on high But it’s you know very with the good Quality wise With very good balance and very good Harmonious Uh order of flavors And when we’re talking about the primary Uh primary notes aromas we can find the Black cherry Overripe saltery pomegranate Blackcurrant In the hot vintages we can find the Blueberry jam

Some violets floral aromas and sun dry Siege uh secondary international aroma Will go in direction of offering prawn Vanilla from oak chocolate sweet tobacco And leather so if you see all these Aromas you can think probably that it is Aromatic grape variety actually it’s not You can find some part of these aromas And flavors in Some of of granites not In not all these aromas can be finding In umbrellas to be so complex And we come at the end almost just to Mention About the the y styles Yesterday we have a brand small day 5th Of october And we have opportunity to taste Some small group have opportunity to Taste some Grannies or several producers here in North macedonia Uh when we talk about the montenegrian Style and macedonian style Style i always like easiest to explain Something like Sira and shiraz let’s say syrah from France It’s more elegant more spicy than shiraz From Australia offer more uh More fruity more concentrate more bolded Uh Reds when i when we compare

Montenegro style and not Macedonian-style brownish We can use the the same terms uh When we go deeper to the macedonian Style of wines The ones which come from the more in Continental inflation over more higher Acidity More fashion more vivid wines more Fruity wines Let’s say and the wines which come from The Southern part with under more influence Of the Mediterranean climate they offer more German German gemini nodes fruity nodes but Higher concentration higher knees More powerful more alcohol but Usually well integrated alcohol so also We can use for granites the Following terms bold bolded powerful Concentrate fruity expressive Burning alcoholic intensive opulent Complex reality Tonics cool and harmonious temperamental Vivid And long-lasting as it promised land Of the eternal sun okay that will be all Of this presentation and I would like to thank you and make a Cheers with you And if you have any questions i’m here To

To answer thank you zvanko Um yes there’s a few questions so i’ll Ask those two now if that’s okay While you while you enjoy your wine You’re allowed a sip of your wine first Um so there’s a couple about the sort of Appellation Pdo system and they’ve asked is tickface A wcgo or Or a wco About the appellation where the ticket Is actually its part We are we are working on on the Registration actually for for this but Equestria will come as the wineries Who has uh vineyards there uh Will will go to the to the wines with uh Protected and guaranteed uh origin Let’s say i will go back to the Classification If it’s in seconds There was that question and there was Also one that asked um Who determines how do you determine the Difference Between the how determine the difference Between the wco And the wcbg uh wcgo Is it a bit like italy is it a bit like Doc and dscg Yes yes yes yes it’s it’s Similar like italy but it’s not so um So so precisely the terminate like Like in italy it’s still uh we are

Working in the in the in the law For for make the determination of this Uh We of these two appellations Uh or classification for for the wines So i’m not sure i i think that That we also have a blind testing for This geo Like india’s document in italy so Uh the but maybe about the Great varieties we have a wider uh Wider range of the grape varieties which We can use For for the wines with this Classification Thank you um another question about The varieties you mentioned it was it Was sometimes blended so someone asked What varieties has it been blended with And just what other great varieties as Well as another question that’s linked Uh Cultivated in north macedonia alongside Bernick Yes this presentation it’s actually more Focused on the brands but Yeah i forgot to mention uh of course we Have uh Actually in macedonia we have uh one Only one Uh ingenious ingenious grape variety It’s uh Stanushima or we call here macedonian Girl it’s very

Very elegant wines it’s produced With silky tannins and could be the Red wines could be white wine and As well the rose the best results are Offering with the rose of wine I didn’t find file stanushina into the Blend With vranets but under the traditional Uh method of winemaking uh It’s very possible to find stanushina Propopets and Together with brands or maybe kartosia Kadarka and some some other great Varieties In in production with the plants when We’re talking about the commercial Brands and commercial wineries They usually use in glance Kratoshia there’s a zinfandel primitive The same I mean grape variety and make sure we Have them the most awarded wine From which come from particular winery From the bharava terrar And it’s domain borrower actually the Name of this wine it’s brand of uh Kratoshia and uh ranettes uh so The this can be considered let’s say Like a Blend uh like a gsm in their own Industry kartosia and the environments Here in commercial production But also of course bordeaux blends are Usually covered in metal

Fit well with runnets now last five Years It’s usually can be seen the syrah And run its mean combination into the Plant Plants switch very well with some other Grape varieties because can offer the The freshness Also can offer the the the structure That improve the structure of the wine And can offer in the meat Let’s say uh about into the blood Brilliant thank you um just a couple More this one this one might be a little Bit trickier to answer but Um what are the challenges and Opportunities That you see in the marketing and Selling of wine from north macedonia in The future Okay Opportunity now we’re doing uh i think a Good marketing About the selling the wines we are not Selling at the moment but we Are promoting the the grape variety Promoting the new wine region Because uh actually the the wine lovers And The consumers they have also Already favorite wines but they all the Time Uh looking for taste and to To to meet some other grape varieties

Some new exotic Wine regions and here i see For the start for the beginning Something which Will be catchy for the new consumers and New uh let’s say marketing approach for For increasing the the selling of the Wires promoting the The wine region uh And uh well this will be For for burgeoning i think that’s enough Thank you um just a couple more so some People asking Um depending where they’re based um if They can get hold of some examples so do You know any Particular producers that are available In the the usa Um Do you know any particular ranic wines That are available in the usa in america No but if it’s no problem i can make a List very uh quickly after this uh Presentation and maybe until tomorrow I was sent to i don’t know On the post order of this presentation Just where where the consumers can Can find actually the brands and some Other mr Northwestern macedonian wines yeah but If you and also if you flick to the end Of the presentation We had a slide with all your you had Your facebook page perhaps they could

Contact you There if they want to ask but because i Don’t know where where the wine’s Available but a few people are us Answering in the chat so i’m sure we can Find some Okay great thank you thank you for the Guests who knows um so yes And then forgotten is the importer in The uk so uh you can find Some of the ones there excellent Uh yeah so blind search is always really Useful if you type in a variety i’m sure We’ll have lots of information Good and then um one final question then I think that we’ve got is um What is the approach to choosing the Tewas That are suitable i’m not sure his Approach to choosing the Terrar actually is uh Yeah it’s the pedagogical science and It’s when we’re talking about the terrar It’s I jumped uh to the soil but Uh it’s Actually collecting all the Characteristics of Which means the work there are this is The Climate aspect the soil Grape variety exposition orientation Human who produced these these grapes And uh approach is very serious because

Uh from uh from the past A lot of great varieties are actually Trying to fill under Let’s say not so so well not so good Uh terrors and now let’s say for example We have a riesling But it’s planted very hot uh Places and it’s not offering what Riesling Can offer but now The approach is more more serious and More Scientific the their every aspects are Considered and after that is Decide which grape variety will be plant So we have a very new Plants i think that now it was 770 Hectares Which will be new planted start with new Some new grape varieties and that will Be The answer let’s see Brilliant i think that’s all the Questions that i Made tonight of i think anything else You answered as you went along with your Very comprehensive presentation so Thank you so much again this will be um Going up on our on our youtube channel So you can watch it back if you missed Anything Um and and go into redness in some more Details so Thank you so much for your time zonko
